Your company is listed as one of the greatest corporations that pollute our ocean. You make up part of the Eight Million Metric Tons of your waste product sitting in the sea. Not only can it be harmful to our ocean animals, habit, and mating rituals, but our sea levels are rising from all the pollution. This will not only cause flooding in coastal areas but destructive erosion and soil contamination that can mess with animal habitats. Polluting our oceans are causing the water to become more acidic. This can affect humans by irritating the skin and eyes and causing health problems like vomiting, diarrhea, kidney disease, liver disease, stomach cramps, and nausea. The acidity in the ocean can also affect the ability to grow for coral reefs. You, as a successful company should be thinking about making biodegradable products or finding safer ways for your company to continue for the sake of our environment and humanity.
